Fun set of four metal dinosaur cookie cutters from Little Pals.  Ideal for stamping out biscuits, fondant icing and even modelling clay.

Cook up some scary dinosaurs for tea!  Here’s a biscuit recipe for you to try:

Fun to use for cooking up some teatime treats.  Here’s a basic recipe for starters!

100g margarine, 50g caster sugar, 50g dark brown sugar, 1 egg, 200g plain flour, teaspoon ground ginger, teaspoon ground cinnamon.

Cream together margarine and sugar, add egg a little at a time and sieve in flour and spice.  Roll out to about 3mm and stamp out shapes with the cookie cutter.  Bake at 180c or Gas 5 for around 10 minutes until golden.

Pack contains pterydactyl, stegasaurus, brontosaurus and tyrannosaurus shaped cutters.  These majestic monsters lived millions and millions of years ago.  Did you know that “dinosaur” comes from two greek words meaning terrible lizards?   They lived all over the earth and we know this because fossils have been found on all continents.  In China there was a dinosaur called a micropachycephalosaurus and this particular dinosaur wins the prize for having the longest name, although it was only about a metre tall and weighed around 4kg, so not such a monster!

Size varies from approx 8cm x 8cm to 10cm x 4cm.
