Children’s Grow Your Own Flower Garden Kit with Sunflowers, Peppermint Stick Flowers, Snapdragons and Edible flowers.   The set contains a green hand trowel and fork with wooden handles and bright green metal heads.  There are four colourful plant pots and saucers included.  One purple, one orange, one yellow and one blue.   The plant markers are decorated with a smiley flower design.  There are four in the pack. Peppermint Stick Flower

An unusual and stunning colour combination (zinnia) producing 5cm cream to yellow blooms all striped in different shades of Red, Purple, Rose or Orange. Every bloom is slightly different. The plants are easy to grow so ideal for children.  They look quite like seaside rock!

Sunflower

This is the traditional single stem giant sunflower that grows to at least six feet in height, but often much higher. Typically over a foot wide, the blooms are and packed with seeds which make a tasty snack for birds. Very easy for kids to grow. Great for school projects.

Snapdragons

Snapdragon Flower is a popular and dwarf variety of this ever popular flower.  Often known as ‘bunny rabbits’, the seeds produce a wide range of colours.  Ideal for smaller gardens and very easy to grow.  Do you remember taking a flower, turning it around and squeezing to make it look like a rabbit opening its mouth!!

Edible Flowers

We’ve included seeds for a fast growing nasturtium which can reach 1.8m with a bit of support, or can be grown as ground cover.   These seeds produce plants with attractive leaves and pretty single petaled flowers.  They grow in a mix of colours, including yellows, reds, creams and peach/pinks. The leaves and flowers are edible and an attractive addition to salads, and can look especially pretty on a decorated cake.

Measurements

The trowel measures 20cm long and 7cm wide, and the fork measures 19cm long and 7cm wide.  The childrens gardening gloves are approximately 18cm in length from fingertip to wrist and 8cm wide.  One size fits up to approximate age 10 years.  The pots are approx 12cm high with a diameter of 12cm.
