Grow Your Own Beanstalk

Grow your own beans with the Little Pals Growing Pot of Fun Jack’s Beanstalk Kit.     This cute garden set contains a bright planter and matching water tray, runner bean seeds and compost cubes.   Sowing and growing instructions are also included.     Simply add water to the compost cubes, stir in some extra garden soil and plant the seeds – watch them grow!

Jack’s Beanstalk

Plant the bean seeds and watch the  Jack’s Beanstalk grow and grow.  Tall beanstalks with lots of scarlet flowers and runner beans.   The variety is called Scarlet Emperor and is easy for children to grow.    Plant beans two or three to a pot and transplant into the garden later.  Also the beans can be planted directly into the soil.   The beanstalk will need supporting and can be grown in a row.  Alternatively you can grow in a wigwam shape.  The bean pods themselves will grow to about 30cm in length.  Which leaves us just to mention ….. fee-fi-fo-fum – watch out for the giants!
